Bagaduce Music, Pan Institute and Peninsula Pan are excited to present the 30th Pan New England Steel Band Festival. In the spirit of the tradition that Carl and Susan Chase created here in Blue Hill we are celebrating this two day festival in their honor. The Festival will take place May 6th, 7th on the campus of Bagaduce Music 49 South Street, Blue Hill. 30th PAN NEW ENGLAND STEEL BAND FESTIVAL will take place on Sunday, May 7th The entrance fee is $10 for adults and students/children are free. Fifteen steel bands from all over New England will come together to play their own music and perform together. The Festival starts at 11am and ends at 3pm. Caribbean food will be available to purchase along with Festival 2023 T-shirts. MUSIC CELEBRATION AND BACKYARD PARTY will take place on Saturday ,May 6th This evening is free and open to the public. It is a Pot Luck Dinner at 6pm followed by an evening featuring Carl Chase’s songs and arrangements performed by Ready About! and the Atlantic Clarion Steel Band with special guests. This is a celebration hosted by Bagaduce Music for Carl and Susan Chase’s named collection of music donated to the Bagaduce Music Library.
