Welcome to Pan Institute

At Pan Institute, we specialize in providing high-quality education to both youth and adults in the art of playing and performing in steel bands and making steel pans. We travel throughout New England to conduct workshops, perform concerts, consult and tune for steel bands.

Here at Pan Institute we teach arranging, directing, music theory, and the craft of building and tuning the instruments. We have an extensive collection of music written and arranged for steelbands as well as recordings availiable from over the years.  We are committed to organizing events that promote the steel band culture and the performing arts in our community and beyond. Our passion for Pan is matched  by our dedication to creating engaging and memorable experiences for everyone involved.
